Goodbye Tennessee, Hello Illinois

Just a few months ago my husband was introduced with an awesome opportunity to work in Sweden for the next few years. Honestly, my first reaction was not one of excitment. Sweden?!? What's even there? A lot, actually! I started doing lots of reading and researching and found that it is quite a beautiful country!

As the interviewing process went on for Johnny I became more and more excited. What an experience we are going to have! I'd be lying if I said that I'm not terrified though. We have three young kids and there is so much to get lined up, especially for them!

For now though, we are saying goodbye to our home in Tennessee and going to stay with family in Illinois. This will give our realtor a chance to list (and hopefully sell) our house without us living there and also for me to have a bit of help with the kids. Just a couple of weeks ago, amidst the craziness of relocating to another country, I broke my foot! Great timing! We will stay in Illinois for about a month before we head over and begin life abroad in the blue and yellow!
