Bear Island with Friends

On Tuesday, we went to the beach with a family from church. Emmelie is from Sweden and her husband Thomas is from the US. It's fun to chat about differences here and there and about the crazy election going on and all that fun stuff! We grilled hotdogs, the kids played, went swimming, played Kubb and just chatted. One of their daughters is Isabel and she will be in Emma's preschool class...which brings me to the other thing...Emma was accepted to a preschool! Woo-hoo!! I was told that it was going to be very hard to get her into school because we were putting her on the list so late in the summer. I was convinced that there wouldn't be a place for her anywhere. Well, the preschool at our church happened to have an opening. There is also another girl from church who will be in her class named Evelina. She has an American Dad and a Swedish mother as well. So both of these little girls know English and Swedish, as Emma will soon!
